Enter our Christmas 2022 Image Competition for a chance to win £50!

Winners will be chosen by Committee vote excepting the Christmas Cracker category which will be chosen by public vote, and the winners announced the following week. Winners will receive £50 from the sponsors of the appropriate competition. Applicants may submit one image/video per category.

There are 4 categories to win in:

Images of Research: Microscopy images taken for research purposes. Images will be judged on Visual Impact, Technical Difficulty and Scientific Significance.

Imaging In Action: Images taken during around the lab, such as of a microscope, someone imaging, a laser, grids for EM – get creative!

Video Competition:  Microscopy videos taken for research purposes. Videos will be judged on Visual Impact, Technical Difficulty and Scientific Significance.

Christmas Cracker: Got an image or video with particularly Christmassy vibes? Do your blinking fluorophores remind you of Christmas lights? Add your submissions t this category. This will be judged with a public vote.

People may submit entries to more than one of the categories, but only one entry per category is permitted.  Please submit these separately. Deadline for submission is 5pm, 9th December 2022.
