We are excited to announce the introduction of our inaugural Scottish Microscopist of the Year competition. This award celebrates inspirational and outstanding contributions to the Scottish Microscopy community.  

Thank you to everyone applied for Scottish Microscopist of the Year, applications are NOW CLOSED. The winner will be announced shortly, and will win £500 and give a talk at our annual symposium.

Entry was open to early career researchers (PhD to newly independent PI i.e. not tenured) and technical microscopy staff, and consists of an easy form to fill in as well as submission of an example image/video.
