
Edinburgh Electron Microscopy Lab
The EM facility provides both scanning and transmission EM and sample preparation. Steve Mitchell provides specimen preparation and training/advice in TEM and SEM techniques and use. He handles a diverse set of samples ranging from soft tissues such as nerve and fish gills to hard tissues such as toe nails, horse hoof and teeth.
